Oh Glory Day!!!!!!!!! Resting in the Arms of the Lord.

Once again my Lord has kept true to his Word!
Let me give you a little history on our latest trial. As most of you know my two oldest boys are at Heartland Bible College in Oklahoma City, both of my boys have received a full ride scholarship for next semester except of course their books.
Corey will be traveling with Glory bound as their sound man and Zac will be traveling with the Vacation Bible School team this summer.
This semester Corey received a full ride also, but Zac had to pay his full tuition.
Zac had a payment due on his tuition today March 13, 09, He had to have $1015.00 or he was coming home. On Monday of this week, he was able to talk to the head of finance and he said that he must have $315.00 by today and then the remaining $700.00 would be due on Monday but he had 30 days to come up with that balance. BIG RELIEF!!!! But when you have nothing and no check coming in this week, where would it come from? Oh Zac was such an encouragement to me. He would say Mom, I am not worried about it, God cannot lie, as I am trying to figure out in my weak faith, How am I going to get out there to pick him up when he has to come home....
(I know, I know, I am the only one that sinks when I see a storm coming : 0 ) )

Earlier this week a man from our church gave me some money to send to Zac to help him out with his bill, this man barely knows my son and out of the kindness of his heart chose to help another brother in need. (I love the Lord's children.)
Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the POOR lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Zac has been cutting hair on campus to make money and a couple of weeks ago one of the students gave Zac $30.00 and because Zac doesn't have a car he has not been able to cash that check. So yesterday Zac took all that he had and made a payment on his school bill. This still left a huge balance due today. Any balance is huge when you have nothing.....Right?
We all have been there.

This is the good part, I received a phone call last night that someone called and paid the remaining balance that was due today. I am not sure if Zac knows it is paid yet, but I cannot wait to get the phone call letting me know that God paid it off, just like he said he would. Remember? God cannot lie.

The office is keeping it annonoumous, but I know who did it and I am so thankful for my parents and the love and sacrifices they make for me and my children. I know it was a huge sacrifice for them to pay that for him. But ultimately we know that all good gifts come from above he just uses good people here on this earth to fulfill his will.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is FROM ABOVE, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

I am chomping at the bit to here from Zac today, I am excited to get that phone call with the joy and excitement he will have knowing that God did exactly what he said he would do.
You know some people do not understand our circumstances, they feel we should do something to fix the situation we are in, but when God puts you in a trial that you can do absolutely nothing about and he comes through, it increases your faith in him.

Hebrews 11:6 But WITHOUT FAITH it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God loves to do the impossible. I have rung my hands through so many trials and I have wasted so much of my energy trying to figure out how God is going to take care of me and my family, that this morning I have a complete silence *rest* in my soul that God will come through for us also. I have a greater understanding and new found appreciation for these next few verses.

Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a REST to the people of God.
Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that REST, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

It is a labour to bring your flesh into the subjection of trust but it is a blessed place to enter into God's rest.

Resting in the arms of the Lord,
Rebecca

What a blessing to read this today. It brings me back to my college days when the Lord did the same thing for me.

Praise God! He is no respecter of persons. What He does for others He can do for you!

What a blessing and encouragement to read about the blessing from the Lord. We have one son who will start college in the fall. I loved reading about this!

Just a little update.
Zac called today and told me that when he woke up this morning there was $120.00 laying on his dresser.
Two of his college room mates put some money together to assure that Zac would be staying on campus. He told me that his balance was paid. He said that all of the other money is going directly on next months balance.
I praise the Lord for th faith that the Lord is building in his life right now.
Please pray He has misplaced his phone and needs the Lord to show him where it is.
